On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is with both great appreciation and love and sadness that I announce that @Eleyan Al'Landerin , Koyn Amyrlin and Founder of TarValon.net, will be stepping down from the Board. However, we aren't losing her completely! Eleyan will be a consultant to the Board so we can still plague her with questions about all things TV.net!
I cannot begin to express how different my life would have been, if it weren't for Eleyan and her friend Wendy reading the books, wanting to be Aes Sedai, then figuring out a way to make it so. I remember buying the books at my local bookstore, then scouring the internet for more information. Somehow, I made it here...and I never left
I can remember the first time I met Eleyan - it was at 5th Anni in Corpus Christi. She came over to me, and talked to me, and I was just so amazed that she knew who I was...and took the time to come and talk to me. I was floored. I hadn't expected that! Over the years, I've had the chance to get to know Melissa better. She is a warm, caring, loving individual. I am richer for knowing her, and I will greatly miss her presence on the board. But like I said earlier - I still get to bug her about stuff, and she will always be welcome to attend any board meeting she can attend. This place is her baby - her creation, and wow...what a wonderful place it is
Thank you, Melissa - for your friendship, love, and for creating this place to call our home!
