I'm not really sure why this would be happening. I'm hoping it's something stupid I can fix :laugh:

Recently, anytime I try to upload my signature, a weird couple lines of code is coming up under it. I typically have to go in to edit the signature to erase/save 4-5 times before it actually disappeared. I just realized also after going through a few of the PM's in my 'Sent' box that it looks like it's going out at the bottom of a few of my PM's as well. (At the bottom of the PM, not in my signature).

This is the code, copied from the bottom of a PM I recently sent out:

Save
Save

I'm not sure, but I think it's the same code showing when I try to update the signature (but can't be sure, because I finally got it to save without)

Also, when I previewed this post, this is what I saw, and I had to re-edit again:

And I know because I double-checked, that I had the <quote></quote> in the right place before I previewed. So what gives? Looks like it got moved around before I posted?

Am I inadvertently doing this to myself? :laugh: Or is there some weird setting I need to change? At this point, I'm hoping it's something easy to fix even if it makes me feel stupid because it's driving me CRAZY! :laugh:

SaveSave

:D Its an issue with Copy and Pasting. We have it on our list.

If your in chrome when you paste.. right click and try pasting as plain text.
Or choose the first icon on the tool bar (if you hover it says "Switch Editor to Source Mode") and paste it like that. Select the icon again to go back to the other edit mode.

I find that when copy and paste goes funky, you want to paste it into notepad, since that stripes it of anything funky, and then copy that information..

But that looks funky. XD

Well the weird thing is when it happened in the PM, I hadn't copied or pasted anything. Just wrote a PM and didn't notice it had even happened until I was looking for something in my 'Sent Items' folder :scratch The PM didn't have any sort of images or weird formatting in it. Just a straight PM. :cheeseeni:

Its like if you copy from on the site it attempts to include formatting that the editor cant parse on submit..

I have learned to preview everything o.o;

Yeah I typically do. Even when I see it in preview and erase it though it sometimes is still there when I preview again. Just very weird. Good to know I'm not the only one with the issue and that it's on 'the list' though. Thanks again :)
