We asked for feedback, here are the changes - Euro Party

Good day!

Last year, Events put out a feedback form to gauge not only interest but if changes to the way Euro Party was ran could benefit both our Euro members and the Tower.
After reading through feedback and looking at answers, it has been decided that Euro Party is still a viable event with a few changes.

Firstly, I want to thank Aduiavas Ida for her work in the role of Mistress of Revels - EU. With there being no official Euro Party event last year and with the changes being made, there will not be a need for this role going forward.

Secondly, here are the changes:

• Euro will now be a hybrid Official party and local event similar to how we ran Spring Fling in 2023.
  • Ticket price will cover a group room for Friday/Saturday, the official toast and $25 towards a meal on Saturday night (not including alcohol)
  • Rooms will be at each attendee's expense - you choose who you room with, if anyone
• Events will be hosted in a hotel, preferably in a major city with easy arrival access
  • Preference given to places with tourist attractions
• Bids will be solicited for each event
  • Submitting a bid may require some additional assistance from you but it will be minimal
• Local Liaison will changing to Event Host. This position/merit can either be the individual who submitted the bid OR the highest ranking attendee willing to Host.

Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey, emailed in thoughts and was willing to participate in a Focus Group should that have been necessary.
