Is it odd that I didn't want to waltz in saying "Hey, I'm soandso's husband!" I feel that if it turns out the site isn't for me, or indeed the site feels I'm not a good fit, then I can slope off into the shadows no harm, no foul. With a big entrance, it then leaves a swirl of "Wow, she is married to that dork!" if it doesn't work out :/
This place is really important to her, so I wouldn't want to inadvertently be a negative impact on that.
