It's been doing that to everyone since the site update Mychael, it's not just you :P

Thanks for the nice flute music!

Thank you for assuming it is nice music :pleased-1:

I think if I actually tried a wood flute it would sound pretty poorly haha. But... I never have. So maybe, around this fire, it is delightful and tranquil. :halo

It has never done that to me. But then again, I'm all special and such. :pleased-1:

Well we knew that! Dearest Ary Sedai, what would we ever do without you? We need some non-double-post sanity in our lives :)

Welcome Mychael! :joy

Ary :hug

Thank you, soon to be mayor Kass Sedai!

It does this every time I try to use Quick Reply haha. Not sure why.

If you get a message saying you need to wait to repost, just go back into the forum and don't repost. Usually your first post is in the forum.

I had a spare hour today so I was able to finish "The Path of Daggers" (finally), I suppose I'll say what I thought of it.
 • I really wasn't enjoying it when it first started, to me it dragged a lot, I just wanted the Bowl of Winds to finally be used but I had to get through 100+ pages until it happened.
 • After that I began to really enjoy the book, it was really nice seeing Elyas again, and I really enjoyed the chapters with Egwene and her struggles with dealing with the Sitters. The chapters with Rand attacking the Seanchan in Altara was very interesting, especially when he used Callandor.
 • The highlight of this book for me was Chapter 26: The Extra Bit. It was so tense when Pevara and Seaine were questioning one of the (unknowingly rebel) Aes Sedai, especially when she nearly died because she was being forced to lie. It ended on such a cliffhanger after finding a member of the Black Ajah.
 • Also it was very sad when Rand had to put Fedwin Morr to "sleep" after the madness took over him.
Overall I'd rate it a 3.5/5.
Looking forward to "Winter's Heart" now!

I'm glad you finished the book :) I agree with a lot of your observations. I would like to start a series reread soon, it's hard to remember everything that happens in each book.

HI!!!

Great review on this book. I didn't get the attack on the Seachan and the overall motivation of it. Loved that chapter about the Black Ajah hunt. I am reading New Spring for this first time. Love it! It makes more sense now why Siuan would send three Accepted to hunt Black Ajah now.

Hey Leonie! I don't think I have actually introduced myself to you yet (I would have remembered the vibrant avatar if I had!), so hi! :pleased-1:

I'm only 100 pages into Winter's Heart and I'm enjoying it a lot thus far. I also have New Spring as well, which I plan to read after Book 10.

I wonder if marshmallows change taste significantly or at all when being roasted over Satrim... :scratch

I need a volunteer for something completely innocuous that involves delicious marshmallows!
