Satrim Sedai swore under his breath as he stepped out onto the green field, pulling the brim of his hat low against the piercing light. It had been a while since he'd visited the Apple Tree and it's quaint little fire. Truth be told, it'd been a while since he'd left the Tower at all. Aes Sedai business and all that, Val Cueran to light on fire and Novices to bagger.
The fresh air would do him some good, he thought to himself as he made his way across the grass towards a small copse of trees.
Near the base of one such tree, towering and laden with beautiful red fruit, was an old fire pit ringed by stone and surrounded by sections of logs perfect for sitting on. Stacked beside the trunk of the grand apple tree was a pile of aged lumber just begging to used for a fire.
Setting to work he quickly had a crackling fire going in the sunken pit. Plucking a ripe apple from the tree he sat upon a log and gazed about contentedly.
Hopefully someone would join him soon, be them Aes Sedai, Recruit or a fresh faced adventurer new to Tar Valon entirely, he didn't care.
All were welcome under the Apple Tree.

A note to all of our new people: TarValon.net isn't really a roleplaying site, but we have fun with some light/silly RP in the occasional thread.
