Get out your brushes, cameras, and crop tools! The Department of Marketing is running a calendar contest!
Overview
To create a variety of months that show aspects of the Tar Valon community.
Calendar
Instead of creating a Calendar of purely Wheel of Time scenes, the Department of Marketing has instead decided on developing a Calendar that showcases TarValon.net as a community. Submissions can include Events (like the Seanchan invasion), Comics, Pictures, Ajah/Company submissions, anything you can think of! Winners will be featured in the calender [duh!] which will be sold in our CafePress shop! Also, there will be an additional prize each for the funniest entry and the most creative entry, to be judged by myself and Arie [the resident Product Manager]!
Image Requirements
Image Size: Bleed to 11.5 x 9, trimmed 11 x 8.5.
Resolution: 150-300 DPI (200 recommended)
Please note that all images should be in RGB color format (not CMYK).
Any Art* Style Welcome.
*Art Style includes, not limited to, Photography, 2D and 3D Art, Digital or Traditional art. Can't draw so well but have a great idea? Do it anyway!
Also, please note that artwork should not be for towards a specific month [although seasonal references are fine]. Please do not include the name of a month in the artwork.
Also also, members may submit multiple entries!
All Calendar Submissions are to be sent to marketing [at] tarvalon.net and productmanager [at] tarvalon.net with the subject line "CALENDAR SUBMISSION - Your Tower Name," and a title and explanation of your submission [to be printed along with the calendar]. The deadline for submissions is DECEMBER 15TH, 2010. Any questions, in-progress critiques, or slices of cake may be sent to either or both email addresses listed above.
Now, GET CRACKING!
