Due to the "real life monster," Kiana Sedai has had to step down from her position within the Department of Administration. It is with much regret that we thank her for her service and seek to fill the position.
The Human Resources Project Manager is responsible for:
- Monitoring the hr@ email.
- Assisting with the HR/Job Forum. Specific actions include fielding requests, moderation of the forum, and providing HR perspective and advice.
- Assisting with HR related activities, such as resume and cover letter review.
- Processing of regular reviews for nonExecs where the position is held 18 months or more. Assisting with Exec annual reviews.
- Participate on Annual Report and Membership Survey projects as desired or as needed basis.
- Other duties as needed.
The ideal candidate would:
- have a college degree
- have HR experience and professional attitude
- be a SM and be in good standing
- proficient with Google suite of products
- have 5 hours a week to devote to position (more as deadlines get close)
- be self sufficient, proactive, detail oriented, and communicative
- stay in the position a minimum of 1 year
Items of note:
- Experience can be used towards PHR recertification or as consult experience for PHR.
- Position is still evolving so there is lots of room for creativity and personalizing it.
- This position directly impacts membership at large in very real ways which can be very rewarding.
