Are you interested in real-life volunteering?
Do you like researching stuff online?
Anxious to be a minion?
We're on the final push to get the Servants of All system up and running, and are in need of some research minions to help out! Similar to the merit system, we have a list of activities people can participate in to earn achievements -- but unlike the merit system, where "Be a membership admin" is straightforward, our activities are such that members might not know *how* to get involved in an activity (or even what it means). I might be interested in donating blood, but if I don't know that I could look up, for instance, the RedCross and find a donation center, then I'm sort of stuck.
So we're working on compiling information for how to "get started" with each activity. We want Servants of All to be every bit a resource center as it is a recognitions system.
Your job will be simple: help compile links to resources and other information about the things we have listed. You could help out with just the stuff you know more about, or the stuff you find the most interesting, or whatever suits you.
This is a temporary gig under the Director of Community Outreach (me!). It will last as long as it takes to get it done, but my aim is to have this last only a few weeks. Time commitment is whatever you can give me. If you've got 10 hours next week, and that's it, then great! If you've got 2 hours this week and 3 hours next, and that's it, then great!
Requirements
--member for at least one month - can be any rank
--willingness to do online research in a variety of areas and/or write up short blurbs about the things you research
--ability to commit some time to this in the next few weeks
You can be from any country, and non-US members are especially encouraged. (US members, we still need you too!)
How to apply
Send an email to philanthropy@tarvalon.net with the subject "APPLICATION - SoA MINIONS - YOURNAMEHERE." All you need to include is what country (or countries) you're from/would be able to research, and what your time commitment expectations are for the next few weeks.
This is open until complete!
