WARNING! Lots of spoilers........ I finally finished Path of Daggers a few days ago, and I have to say I really enjoyed it! It seemed like the few books before Path of Daggers were much slower - it seemed like nothing happened until ~80% through the book, at which point I couldn't put the book down until it ended. In Path of Daggers, though, I felt like interesting stuff was happening throughout the entire book. By the time I was about halfway through: they had used the Bowl of Winds Egwene had manipulated the Salidar Hall to declare war on Elaida and thus give Egwene more power the Seanchan had attacked a bunch of people, including chasing Elayne/Nynaeve/Birgette/Aviendha while Elayne tried to unweave the gateway 'causing a crazy explosion Perrin had saved Maghdin and company (not realizing she's Morgase) Rand had decided to attack the Seanchan I was a bit concerned about this part of the series since I kept hearing that it was a pretty slow group of books, but at least for book 8, I found it much more consistently interesting than the previous few. Now, onward to Winter's Heart!
