Notifications

Since I rejoined I dont seem to get notifications when someone replys to a post I start or comment on? Is this because im not yet a citizen? Currently struggling to remember what ive posted where without help... I better set myself a reminder that i made thus thread!

I believe there are "Subscription" settings in your profile that allow you to get notifications for threads. You might need to go through those and adjust as desired. Unfortunately I've never not been AS on these boards so I don't know what the permissions are pre-citizen aside that you can't PM someone.

If you go into your private messages, you should see a folder in the second box on the left labeled "Subscriptions". Check that. If it's empty, that's why you're not getting notifications. If you do have things there on which you should have received notifications recently, scroll down further to the "My Settings" box and open General Settings under My Account. The fourth option should be Default Thread Subscription Mode. Make sure that's set to something other than "Do Not Subscribe" and you should get notifications.

Most likely, you're running into this issue because you've just re-created your account. This isn't the sort of thing I would expect rank-based permissions to impact.

The options are recieve notifications via email instantly/daily/weekly or through control panel only so have set it to the control panel one. Hopefully that works.
