Mendo, I'd be willing to help! I don't know Houston as well, but well enough to look up and/or request info. I had been debating Austin (or even San Antonio), but like you I rather pitch in with someone. Also, I second the local gathering. Things are changing a bit for us where I hope to be able to go to more things like Ren Faire, etc. I still like the TRF weekend idea that some have pitched around too for FB or Anni.

Oh yeah that would be great! I could see Anni too, I do have some ideas but I figured I'd save them for the next year mainly because 2017 has a lot going on in the fall for me, B&I hopefully and my best friend's wedding :joy

But if you guys want to start plotting for Anni 2018 with me I'm totally up for that :shifty

Not that I am putting in a bid, because I am too far away to actually do all the work...

We've had several not-so-local Local Liaisons and it has gone fine. Best if you can make a couple trips to the area during planning for information gathering, but even completely remote has worked.
