Stasia Sedai has done an excellent job as our Tower Voice. In fact, she's done so well at promoting the site that now the job of Tower Voice is just too much for one person. So, we're hiring an additional Tower Voice!
Overview
This is a staff position in the Department of Marketing. It is our social media coordinator position.
Requirements
In order to apply for this position, you can be of any rank so long as you have been a member in good standing of TarValon.Net for at least three months. You also must have functional knowledge of at least one of the social media sites we are on, and you must be willing to learn about the others. Interest in and excitement about social media in general is probably a good thing. It's considered a plus if you have experience with moderating forums, but it's not considered necessary as we can train you.
Duties
-Will be responsible for maintaining our official groups on Twitter, Facebook, Livejournal, etc, including adding people who are members and request to be added and deleting those who are no longer members in a timely fashion.
-Will be responsible for taking announcements posting them on our LJ group, our FB group, and our Twitter account in a timely fashion, including Wheel of Time news, content in Site Announcements, and other relevant information.
-Will work with the current Tower Voice [Stasia], the Director of Marketing, and the Keeper to coordinate news postings.
-Will be responsible for entering information given to you into our new Site news feed in a timely fashion.
