Hiring - Tower Gatekeeper

My Gatekeepers keep leaving Tech for other jobs. :arch Congrats, Liz! But boo @ hiring again.

That said! It's been a while since I initially sought apps for this position. And it's been a good 4 months since the last hiring. Duties

• Navigate the vBulletin backend to add and remove members from usergroups in vBulletin.
• Do so in a timely and efficient manner!

Requirements

• Must be a Senior Member in good standing with the Tower.
• Must be able to dedicate 5-10 hours per week to this position, though the specific time needed will fluctuate week to week.
• Must be active, organized, and able to pay attention to little details.
• Must have good interpersonal skills as you will be working directly with our administration.
• Must stay in contact with the Director of Technology.
• Must have the computer skills necessary to do this job.

Well, I am good with details. But blast it. I could easily do this job during the summer, but once school starts up again in September it would be impossible.

If you're online most every day, even for a few minutes, it's not too hard to keep up. There are two Gatekeepers, so you do not need to be online 24/7 to fulfill requests.

Is this a staff or an admin position?

From what I remember, admin positions require that you oversee a team of people, while staff positions are more about working on your own (or being one of the team being managed :P). Thus, I'd hazard a guess this is a staff position.
