Hiring - Merits Minions & Merit Focus Group

Good afternoon folks! I'm (finally) ready to do some hiring. I need people to fill the following positions:

Merit Minions

Merit Minions are responsible for checking the merits email, researching the validity of merits claimed, researching merits owed and updating Library pages. This position is perfect for someone who likes to dig a little. You would be responsible for communicating with various departments to verify time served/merits earned. This position could require up to 5 or so hours a week and is eligible as a contribution to the Tower. This position is open to Tower members of any rank. Merits Focus Group

Now that our Merits system is in place, we'd like to not only add more merits, we'd like to look at the ones we currently assign. If you are interested in being part of a group that will devise new Merits to award and assess our current Merits, this is for you. Ideally, I am looking for at least one volunteer from every rank in the site. This position could require up to 5 or so hours a week and is eligible as a contribution to the Tower. Inquiring minds are wondering this - I'm guessing both of these are considered Staff positions. If someone was to sign up for both, would they each count separately as months towards the merits for that aspect of Tower service, or are they considered to both be parts of the same job and thus reckoned only once?
