So I picked it out of a semi-dark sense of humor I guess?? Yersinia comes from the Latin name for the Black Plague, yersinia pestis. When I first read the name in like high school I thought it sounded like a woman's name, and it kind of stuck with me lol The last name comes from Mycelium - I have a very amateur interest in fungi and mycology. And thank you!
