I can't seem to remember exactly how he says it but when Lan says "When a man gets knocked down most will run but when the one stands back up to fight that is when you know he is has become truly dangerous." I probably ruined that. Throughout aMoL Lan was epic, he had some of the best parts in that book. And of course so was Mat.

I can't find the exact quote, but it's the one where someone (Arganda?) is amazed that Mat is still alive, considering that someone "blew up his command post, set fire to his tent, chased off all his damane, and tried to kill his wife." And Mat's father responds with "Hah! That's my boy!" 
The boasting scene between Rand and Mat had me in hysterical laughter the first time I read it.
Also, Lan: "I didn't come here to win. I came here to kill you. Death is lighter than a feather". As if we needed any more proof that he is awesome.
And the part where the Two Rivers fighters are described as "a thorn in the Dark One's foot, a bramble to his hand". Hah! Manarathen(sp?) is not bloody dead!
