If you use Chrome in a Win 7 64-bit environment for a while, you may. It's not on every post or even on most of them at this point (though for a while there it was 3 of every four, but it will be the first time you hit the backspace key. I have yet to see it occur after the first time.
If you don't start seeing it, I know you have higher priority things on your to do list with the move
I'm now also seeing this error in a Vista 32-bit environment in Chrome. One further addendum: it doesn't always skip back to the beginning of the post. If you've done anything to change formatting in your post, the cursor will jump back to the most recent formatting change.
I got recently got a Nexus 7 and with the Jellybean version of Android this error is occurring in the native Chrome. It moves the cursor back to the end of the most recent formatting change once before it catches on that no, the cursor's supposed to be at the end. This problem recurs every time you make another formatting change and will happen whenever you do anything other than enter text (i.e. using arrow keys, backspace button, delete button, etc.).
I'm using the full theme. I don't know that this error is possible in the mobile theme as I can't find options for changing the formatting in mobile.
Lilli, I don't think it's the Android OS. I get it on every computer I use too.
Azi, I get this error when using Windows 7 OS 32-bit and 64-bit hands when using Windows XP and when using Windows Vista as well. With Windows 7 I get this error using both the Home Premium and Enterprise Edition. the error occurred for me in both Chrome and Firefox. I don't trust IE so I don't use it.
Huh - weird. Well one thing I'll say is that we're not going to 100% support bugs in the full theme being used on mobile - the product isn't designed for that, and too difficult for us to track down.
I will keep an eye out for anything regarding this, especially the occurrences in Windows. If any of you run into me at an event, feel free to show me in person
