I wonder though....if it turned out to be a good thing that Egwene didn't ask AS to bond Warders. Can you imagine the hysteria of a bunch of Warders all losing their AS from one swoop of balefire? Or AS freaking out and wailing when their Warder died, crazy channeling everything that moved, on your side of the team or enemies? Egwene was strong enough emotionally to know the pain of losing of Gawyn would lessen if she bonded another, as well as the strength ones gets simply from having a Warder to be beneficial. She was somehow able to think logically despite that incredible pain, but I doubt many other sisters could think logically at a time like that.

I am surprised however, that the AS around Egwene did not gasp in terror at her bonding a woman. I suppose the shock of a woman warder wore off after Elayne and Birgitte.

On another note, I agree with Ninya. I can forgive Rand for not noticing, he was really distracted with other things!

The double bond was interesting. I wonder if it would work with channelers and non-channelers, (Rand and Min)?

Considering a non-channeler cannot initiate a bond, I would think not in most cases. Min's kind of a weird/special case altogether, though -- as is the group-bond situation. No idea what would happen if Rand bonded his ladies back!

Wonder if it did work the same way, how could Rand keep three separate people straight in his head. That would get awful crowded in there!

Well he did have the emotions of 6 people floating around in his head at one point lol. I can just imagine Rand having his knowledge from Lews Therin, ability to make ter'angreal, angreal, and sa'angreal from Elayne, and Aviendha's ability to pick apart and read residues of weaves. Not including Alanna's specialty, he would be a powerful tracker.

He wouldn't get Alanna's specialty, whatever it may be (I don't think we ever learned of one for her), regardless -- being dead, he can't bond her back anyway, if he even can initiate a bond now. :cheeseeni:

I'm not sure how being a tracker follows...?

Good point concerning Alanna. Wasn't thinking in terms of the timeline lol. I was thinking in terms of hunting down channelers who are criminals or darkfriends. He would be able to follow the residues of those that can travel.
