Those sneaky buggers...and it wasn't even Universal according to that article. This situation makes me angry

I'd love to see a WoT TV show or Movie series but I'd want it done properly and through proper channels.

It wasn't meant to be good, Red Eagle had to put something out asap or they would lose the rights to it. Shame, I really hope Harriet can sue them and take back the copyright for it. In the right hands, Wheel of Time could not only be a great movie or series, but a great MMORPG. Red Eagle is never going to give up the rights to it though, very frustrating. In 2009, Red Eagle was going to do games on it, but botched it, same with a smartphone Wheel of Time game they botched. Wheel of Time copyright in the hands of Red Eagle is terrible for us lovers of the series, I hope Harriet gets the rights back asap and gives it to a proper company.
