This is probably a silly question, but do you need to have a paypal account in order to do a donation via paypal?

I had a paypal account maybe 10 years ago when I had different email addresses, so if I need to log in sending a check might be easier than sorting that out.

Edit: Just figured out a work-around (send money via SO's paypal account).

Just to address your question Dagnidrea, I think you would need to have a paypal to send a donation via paypal. I cannot think of or find a work around. So the SO’s account is a great option. :P
