Has anyone else read this books? It is not Sandersons best, but I did enjoy the meta, the running commentary in the "background" and the comments about what writers should never do etc :look

I plan on getting the first three for my brother in about a month for his birthday. I may have an ulterior motive in this gift choice however :look

Hes been re-releasing them this year so make sure you get the latest versions with new illustrations, not sure if the content has been re-written at all.

First 3 have been re-done and book 4 will be out a bit later this year before the final book is out.

Not read them yet waiting for the final book first.

Yes, the reissue blog is what gave me the idea of them as a gift. I like the sound of new covers and illustrations :)

I've read them, I like them a lot. I'm getting them for my kiddo for Christmas - he's read them also, but not for a good long while!

I just finished reading the first book yesterday. It was good, but I think I enjoyed the smart-alecky comments at the beginning of chapters to the actual story :lol

I realy loved the first two books. (Two? Three? - I'm not sure... too long ago...)
I read them in german, and after that 'Heyne Verlag' stopped publishing them.
I heard there had been some problems about the cover and much discussion.

As of many 'cool' language twists in this book I didn't wan't to switch to english. I'm still a little bit sad, that they have stopped translating them to german.
