Advertising in signatures

Is it allowed to have a link to an online shop in our signatures? I was reading through the Membership Manual but it doesn't say anything about it advertising in signatures is or isn't allowed.

Not that this answers your question directly but I have seen members with links to other sites in their signatures.. including someone who is currently in a director position, so as it's not explained in membership info, there are past practices where it has been done.

Thanks. I had thought I'd seen some people with links like that but I wanted to be sure. I think I'll go ahead and put my link in my sig and if it's not allowed someone will let me know.

Typically we have allowed links to other sites, providing they don't draw traffic away from TarValon.net.
Those sites are, however, not online shops. I know that a link to a shop isn't forcing anyone to buy anything, but it is advertising products, and that's something we don't allow.
