I Can see that she likely chose the best course. Especially since Siuan wanted to cage him. But one of the themes has been that the companions don’t leave each other behind. Maybe Siuan will understand but it has to have been heartbreaking for her to see Moiraine walk into the portal

I just saw the last episode and I was blown away by so many things . But I was so sad to see Moiraine leave her lover lying on the ground injured and she didn’t even try to help her. She looked back several times but she didn’t help her!!!!
