/bump The US has a blood shortage, and there has been (and will continue to be) a lot of people in need. If you are willing and able to donate, please do so! The Red Cross website has an option at the bottom where you can plug in your zip code and find out the nearest place to donate.

That's awesome! :D You rock! :joy I have annoyingly small veins, and don't like getting stabbed multiple times while someone tries to find a vein -- so I tend to avoid donating blood. But I might try again over spring break, when I have time for bruises to fade.

That's awesome. :D I stopped trying to donate blood after the 3rd time I came away looking like a drug addict. Small veins, much stabbing, not fun. But I wish everyone else well who can and wants to do this. :)
