It's a good way to stack up 25 posts that you need to become a Citizen (as a guest, you're pretty limited to what you can see and where you can post on TV.net). I'd also encourage you to read our Membership Manual and get yourself acquainted with the rules and regulations. What would also help is reading the stickied threads.
