This is my first time making my way through the Fires of Heaven, which I am half-way through. I can't wait to finally finish the series, I seem to be breezing through it right now! I got to WoT by first enjoying Brandon Sanderson's SA and was recommended the The Eye of the World by a friend.

I hope to get to know you guys more as I learn more about this world!

I really enjoyed The Shadow Rising. I think Shadow Rising has to be the best so far, including what I have read in Fires of Heaven so far.

Shadow Rising is also Brandon Sanderon's favorite of the series, he said so in a podcast one time.

My favorite of the series is the last book, Memory of Light, I can't tell you why unfortunately until you finish it.

I agree. I just couldn't put the book down. I especially like the history of the Aiel and the Way of Leaf, and Mat with the Aelfinn. I started slightly annoyed with Mat, but even now Mat is my favorite of the ta'veren.

1/2 dozen. Every couple years, I journey to Randland again. It’s one of my favorite series. Each time, it feels fresh and I invariably discover something new or recall something I forgot.
