That’s great to hear. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Shadow Rising but that doesn’t mean I’m not enjoying Fires of Heaven.

Oh my! Twelfth re-read! I think it will take me sometime to finish my first re-read. Do you enjoy Great Hunt? I would probably rank it just above Eye of the World, which would be my lowest ranked (for now at least).

You know, I enjoy all of them I read them each at a different pace. Sometimes, I get pulled into the descriptions of clothing and architecture, others I find myself listening to the various languages, and each re-read sheds light on little bits of character development, foreshadowing, or ways a particular anecdote speaks to me IRL, depending on my own life experience.

That makes sense. I’m only on book 5 but the world already feels so deep and steep in detail and in layers.

Thank you. I want to explore but thought I would try to get a little bit farther into the story before getting fully involved. I’ve heard this community is very good in preventing newcomers getting spoiled on the story but I’m also just eager to finish it the first time 😊.
