I am very proud to present to you the 2009 Annual Report. This report records our statistics, what was accomplished, and our hopes for 2010 (as Department Directors wrote these in early 2010.) There is a lot of great information! Also, once we start getting these out more regularly, it will serve as a great one stop shopping to record parts of our history.

This report represents a lot of hard work by many people, and I must give huge thanks to the many people who assisted in editting it as well as contributed content. Of course, thanks also go to our volunteers that help moderate, administer, and plan everything we as an organization do (for us to then record and share all the awesomeness TarValon.Net is!)

To name a few people, Leilwyn was the project manager of this who created the new format and put lots of time into the report (and into the 2008, 2007, and 2006 Annual Reports still in process!) Also Dralyn who provided loads of support with giving perspective and high level review of the year as well as editting.

Without further ado, the 2009 Annual Report.

(We are working on having a .doc or pdf of this available. ;) If you have any questions or concerns about the report, please feel free to send them to administration@tarvalon.net.)

Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to provide this for us! I hold a special affection for these reports, since it was one of these that reminded me Tar Valon existed and got me to return, and I've been plaguing the site ever since. You guys are fabulous!

That is a daunting report and I must admit I only made it through about a third of it. I will continue to read sections of it over the next few days. Thanks to all who made this possible.

I'm slightly alarmed that Slindon and Driebergen seem to have jumped over the pond though.

You had me worried there for a sec! Both show as Euro events though... So now I"m just confused by your statement. :scratch

Actually, no. This is what it says:

Attendance at 2009 North American Events

Winter Euro, Slindon, UK: 19 Guests

Anni 2009, Millersylvania, Washington: 70 Guests

Summer Euro, Driebergen, The Netherlands: 26

JordanCon, Alpharetta, Georgia: no one stayed with Tower rooms

DragonCon, Atlanta, Georgia: 24 guests in Tower rooms

Fall Ball 2009, Kansas City, Kansas: 22 Guests

Note the bolded part. :P

I fixed it in the Wiki.
Though, as you have editing powers, you could probably have done that yourself :p

Hats off to you all. I actually read this, for me, that is a major undertaking. Don't wanna think about how much went into the making of it.

Thank you!
