PM disappearing

I logged on today via the mobile site.
There was an indication of a message, but then nothing.
My inbox was completely empty as I cleared my folders out yesterday.
Now I'm sure there was a notification.

Notifications pop up when you get visitor messages as well, and you had one yesterday evening...could that have been it?

It was and I thought maybe it was the way IE displayed the mobile site or my phone.
