It's that time of year again! Fall Ball 2010 needs a logo and it's up to the denizens of TarValon.net to show us your graphics skills. :8)
The Department of Events and Conferences and the Department of Marketing are looking for a logo design for Fall Ball. Each year, the logos from TarValon.net's events are printed on tee shirts and featured on products in our CafePress store, as well as in our Library. If you are an artist, what better way to get your artwork out on the site?
Now, for the fun stuff...
Logo Requirements
- Logos must be digital files with a resolution of LEAST 150dpi, in CMYK format. Please work large... it's easy to scale an image down, but if it's too small, it'll look awful when printed on a tee shirt! But, please send submissions as flattened .jpg or .gif files.
- Logos should be approximately equivalent height and width. They don't have to be perfect squares or circles, but extremely long horizontal or vertical logos will not fit properly on all merchandise.
- Logos must incorporate the event name [Fall Ball 2010], the dates of the event [November 5-7], and the location [Washington D.C.] into the design.
- If you're looking for some inspiration or ideas, take a look HERE to see past winners!
- All artwork MUST BE YOUR OWN WORK. Clip art, stock art, etc, should not be used unless it is free. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to email me and ask.
