The moment where they say this is the farthest they have been from the two rivers is very reminiscent of Sam from LOTR. Also that moment where Matt first does the Manetheren battle cry, definitely chills. Also Mordeth is reminscent of Wormtongue

I am on chapter 15. Reading this thinking about a TV series, I feel like the first half of this book is 2 maybe 3 episodes of source materials tops.

I just started re-reading, will try to catch up.
