Of the main characters, Min was the one I thought most likely to go - give her viewings to Egwene as Dreams (or just cut them like they did with most prophecy in GoT), and after that Loial (and perhaps all the Ogier, with the Ways just being between cities,)

Only Thom left of the main cast (well, main for half the first series), and Loial I guess, though a load more people who have brief appearances and then become a major character in later books - assuming they keep them all
LAN is definitely “stony faced” and I think there is a reference somewhere along the lines of “you wouldn’t think it to look at him now, but he was quite pretty in his youth” and maybe one about how looks aren’t everything because someone as pretty as Nynaeve is with him

I would have thought that the 5000+ years of harmony and paradise would have made it unlikely that segregated populations existed by the end of the Age of Legends
All of this got me thinking about the genetics of skin colour. I remember years ago reading that it was predominantly controlled by 4 genes.
So, if that is the case in this world, we would probably be able to come up with any sort of population we wanted and have it make sense on a genetics...
I'll be happy to see the "National characteristics" go as other than groups that have been isolated (Aiel, Sea Folk, Two Rivers) with minimal movement and interbreeding, they don't really make sense. People living in the country of Cairhien happen to be short. What about when it wasn't...
