Apparently Red Eagle are very insistent that they had the rights, so are suing RJ's wife for her implication that they did not
Film/TV rights can be extremely complicated. It's not unheard of for no one to really know who has rights and for several groups to think they do.
From what various people have said, and from the fact that it was a poor quality rushed production put on TV on one channel in probably the cheapest...
