    My wife actually speaks a bit of Japanese. Her parents lived there for a while. My father-in-law is fluent in Japanese. Definitely a skill I'm envious of! I think mostly what I don't think I'd function well in would be the whole hierachic honor culture. Not sure how much that is just...

    I feel like a lot of parts of Japanese culture are awesome, but based on some of the stereotypes, I wouldn't want to live there. Of course, they're stereotypes, and I don't actually know anyone from Japan, so I have no idea how true they are. Congrats on reaching 25 posts! :D
