The Amyrlin is no longer Aes Sedai, and can therefore bond one. If she were to step down, it would be with every intention to be Gaidin. While we are still open to site changes, at this time, Aes Sedai bonds are not open :)

Congratulations go to our lovely Mother, and the newest Sedai, Jeffy. They were bonded in the Light yesterday (Jeffy's welcome post needed more time in the spotlight), before the Keeper.
