So far, so good. I have to say, I'm a bit blown away by the number of users that are popping into the thread to say hello. A lot of places claim to be welcoming but y'all actually are. It bodes well!
It was the first book in the Vows and Honor Duology that got me hooked. Alberich, all the way!! Come to think of it, that would have been a great name to choose for the site. LMAO!!!
Do you have any other favorite characters? Favorite books in the series? I thought Karal was really well done.
I think it's a problem for me when there is only one book. I need a second, at the very least, and prefer 3-5+ to really get to know the characters. But I have a habit of picking series from prolific writers, so I'm spoiled.
I'd be happy to chat about game mechanics/adapting the D&D magic system to work with/as the One Power! Homebrew content is always interesting. Do you run the games via Discord?
I like Laura, Mab, and Bob. As for Furies of Calderon, I liked the series and the original take on how magic operates. Have you read the first book in his Spire series... The Aeronaut's Windlass? I remember liking the book, but for the life of me, I can't remember much of the plot. :desk:
Quite better. It took a full week to recover. But I woke up yesterday and my throat wasn't sore anymore which was a blessing from the Light to be sure.
After two seasons there hasn't been much exposure for minor characters. That said, Elyas, Alanna, and what little we have seen of Verin have all been great!
Who is your favorite character in The Wheel of Time and why?
Verin. There are others but I have found that I tend to like particular storylines of characters more than others.
How did you find TarValon.Net?
I think I followed a link from a fandom wiki...?
What do you do?
Finishing grad...
