Most of the Asha'man are only called by their last names. I was grateful for the "See Corlan Dashiva" entry when I started looking for Dashiva, because I had no idea what his first name was.
While I enjoyed myself, I wouldn't say it was fun, exactly. It was nice to see Harriet, Maria, and Alan, as always, and a contingent of JordanCon regulars showed up from Atlanta and Nashville, so it was nice to see them as well.
At the signing Saturday, Team Jordan mentioned how the Companion was more casual than the books. They pulled a lot of the writing straight from Jordan's notes, so we're basically seeing how he wrote to himself. :D
Nope. I'm just looking stuff up as it comes up in the reading or in discussion. (I was talking to someone about Cadsuane's entry Sunday night, and just got around to looking at it.) I have too much other reading to do to read it straight through. :lol

Her entry describes the charms in her hair, and what they do, and one of them allows her to know there's a man who can channel within 30 or 40 feet of her. Which could be how she brought 20+ men to the Tower for gentling.
Men who, by the way, survived much longer...
I was happy to see it confirmed that the Ogier are alien.
Also, torm and the other weird animals that Seanchan have are from a parallel world. I thought there may have been a different branch of evolution on the Seanchan continent, like Australia, that led to torm and raken. I wonder if s'redit...
I found myself vaguely disappointed in some of the entries on Age of Legends items. I was in Chapter 6 (I think) of Lord of Chaos, which is all Forsaken all the time, and I looked up some things that were mentioned. The info was basically what was in the book.
