Can be. When third party image hosts display data on an expired/un trusted certificate but we link to it on our forum the pages with those hosted images cause the the site to show mixed trusted content.

Ah yeah.. its seeing a bunch of links to sites like http://sig.grumpybumpers.com/ or Photobucket that are loaded over http in peoples sigs and avatars. My browser is showing mixed content.

Yeah.. Known issues unfortunately. The only work around is to use the A/A (Source Mode) button then paste.

Gah.. I know this isn't a fix.. but at the bottom of the page you can click a link switch to viewing the full site to get all of the normal options you just have to zoom in and out.

Interesting. Can you try the basic editor? I want to see if that makes a difference. The setting is found under Settings > My Settings (menu) > General Settings > Miscellaneous Options > Choose "Basic Editor" See if that helps. You will lose most of the formatting options but if you don't...
