I think I get what you mean. We sent our code away to another company for testing that sounds a little like what you described. Not our speciality at all to do that part.
We spent 3 years developing and testing it, but as is normal for a release people will absolutely find a way to break it :lol For back-end, is it standard for the developer to be trying to break it? Can users break it from interaction?
We released a machine with a custom software to production about 2 months ago. About 40 or so users who all have their unique habits. "What did you do before it crashed" is a standard part of our day now Our software guy is blessedly patient with us!
That sounds like it'll make for a very interesting career. The skills are so versatile for different applications!
I'm in biomedical engineering. Currently working on machines that help to make the products. It keeps me engaged so enjoying it so far :D
