I cackled when Siuan said this in ch5 of TGH: "No one can rally around a woman who must scrub floors and pots all day."

I was thinking I'd be able to do that RIGHT NOW but man it is all just so vague. So yeah I think later we get some additional references that help with a few and I'm hoping I can make those connections when I get there, now that I'm reading more slowly and (hopefully) for details like that.

I'm through Ch 5 of TGH and I have two comments... The darkfriend social: I was always surprised that Bors was judging what his colleagues revealed by their outfits as if it made them idiots. I wonder how many of them did that deliberately in order to lead people to the wrong conclusions? If...

*queues up book 2!* I think I'm going to try to read a chapter or maybe two per day. Hopefully that keeps me from rushing through things and missing details Iike I've done in the past haha.

I'd like to join! I think in the last re-read I tried I made it into book 2 somewhere, so I'll probably just read the comments at first and join in when y'all reach book 2.
