Ayup. :/ Things like this are why I have big issues when people rant on about Faile. They're both very young, and neither of them communicate well with each other, but Perrin *knowing* that what he's doing is hurting her, manipulating her, then getting mad when she does the same thing to be...
Elayne in the early books...I love Elayne, and when I see stuff like that, I have to put my writer hat on, and remember that maybe RJ had big plans for her, and just wasn't...sure where to put her quite yet, but she still needed to be included.
As far as Egwene and Aviendha being first-sisters...
quick thought:
I finished The Dragon Reborn yesterday, and it hit me today that I had imagined Rosamund Pike as Moiraine in the scene where she balefires Bel'al, and it gave me the warm fuzzies. <3
Oh, I'm already a little ahead again, but I'll just in the active discussion from what I remember. :)
ETA: Audiobook weirdness. When readers mispronounce common words. "Chapter 10 - Seekerts." :scratch
:rofl :hug
@Merena Orithana I just started listening to the podcast I mentioned again, and it looks like they're on hiatus for until further notice. Not sure what happened, but it looks like they started that late last year, so I don't blame them one bit. They did mention on Twitter that they...
It's the White Tower Podcast. I found them on Apple Podcasts, so I don't really have a link. :lol
Also, I will definitely be listening to them when we start the Dragon Reborn. I think that's where I left off with them. They read and dissect two chapters a week. I met the hosts at JordanCon...
I listened to a podcast that characterized the Portal Stone experience for Rand and the others as their own Accepted tests. I thought it was really neat!
I felt really sorry for Nynaeve during the scene where Liandrin convinced them to come along. *She* knew it was unusual for an Aes Sedai to make this request to novices, *she* knew Liandrin was shady. But she also knew that her behavior toward Aes Sedai would cause the others to dismiss her...
Well, if they were made before the Age of Legends, people from the Age of Legends (like Lanfear) know how to use them well enough to teach others how to, and how to read them.
Also, I used a Portal Stone on the Yes or No Game thread recently, and something I thought was interesting is...you...
My ADHD says N-O to that! :lol The girl they have who's read the series 30+ times, I just...my brain cannot compute.
This emoji is the perfect example of what happens in my brain when I receive info that I already no very soon after I've absorbed and retained it::you
Myrelle's other Warder didn't have his bond passed to her. She bonded him after his first Aes Sedai died, so that he didn't die. :look
Also, i uh... got a little too into the story and finished the book just now. :lol
I think out of all Shadowspawn, Draghkar scare me the most. :look They take all your control before the kill...it's just unsettling. (Fear of losing all control and sense of self comes from anxiety. Just yikes.)
Second most scary is Dark Hounds.
