On the one hand, Aghdashloo would be fantastic as Cadsuane. On the other hand, I would then feel conflicted because she would make me want to like the character. Also after watching The Expanse I would be expecting her to creatively swear in every other sentence and be disappointed when she didn't.

Regarding the carnival bit - clearly this is a sign that they will in fact be showing the most important and widely loved sequence in the books: Valan Luca's Circus. And what's more, Rand will be there as well, juggling the seals of the Dark One's prison.

And here we finally had a moment to breathe and have some more character interactions. Not sure I'm a fan of all of the changes (Perrin having a crush on Egwene?), but it was still all interesting. Rand and Moiraine deciding to go off on their own is exactly the sort of rash decision those two...
