Sophie Okonedo has a really impressive resume! I'll have to reimagine my mental blue-eyed Siuan, but I think she'll be great! Having a little harder time seeing Kae Alexander as Min, but probably because the only thing I've seen her in was Game of Thrones and she was... well green. :P
OMG YES. That's the vibe I see to, perfectly. Stone cold, hyper intellectual, still on the team of good, but I just want to kick her down the stairs. LOL.
I don't know, Siuan's blue eyes are mentioned a million times. Those are some piercing blue eyes.
That said, I'm totally happy with her as either Verin or Siuan. I think she'd knock either role out of the park.
That's DEFINITELY an Aes Sedai makeup, look closely, you can see the smooth piece they've put on her cheeks and forehead to make her look more ageless....
Yeah he's not very big. I'd like to see more of him actually. He's pretty.
I hope they do well with the horses, I haaaate when I can't concentrate on something because I'm too busy being annoyed with the horse scenes. When the actors look like they're about to fall off or they are OBVIOUSLY...
I think you're probably right, Leo Sedai. The Aes Sedai are a big deal but you don't really realize how big until Fal Dara. But with TV they need to hook you early so you keep watching.
Yikes eight episodes does seem really short. I think a lot of the "road to Caemlyn" plot could be sped up, but I'll be sorry to lose the "slow burn" of Rand's storyline.
We need to see Min soon, we meet her before Caemlyn after all! Although, I wouldn't be super surprised if they rolled her into the Caemlyn plot to save time. Not much would change by cutting Baerlon.
Oooh amazing choices I think. I'm particularly excited about Logain! He's got just the right intense look.
I'm also so glad to finally see Thom and Loial, I was worried. I can't wait to see what Loial's character will look like in the end.
I imagine Logain as in his prime. Older than young, younger than old. Mature. That guy is young. But I can be flexible about it if I need to.
He doesn't look right for Gawyn, Galad, or Aram to me, so I'd say Logain is the most likely choice. If we were seeing Gawyn and Galad I think we'd see...
Oh interesting idea. Michael McElhatton does seem like he would be wasted on Tam. They could probably roll those two roles together without losing a ton. Plus I love the idea of Tam winding up with Thom's love interest at the end. :look
