The Male bond is the same weave more or less both ways. One just has a stronger compelling/obedience portion to it. Something Aes Sedai seem to be able to do as a separate weave touching the parts of the brain where the bond is held. (Myrelle did this in the scene where Lan first came to her).

The majority of this novel will take place over a 16-24 hours span. Its the day before the Last Battle. And all the plots (that will be resolved) have to come together in this short span. So expect a lot of intercutting between Merrilor and other locations and events. As for the chapters...
