I'm not an Elayne fan either. She's incredibly irritating. I will say, that even for all the characters I detest, I love that they are written well enough to inspire that kind of reaction from me :lol Nothing worse than reading a book where no-one makes you go more than "meh" :p

I agree with Elo. I'd say that Egwene (apart from her choice in men) was one of the more switched-on women of the series. As for not working for anything... And that's just one example.

Yes... Perrin on his own is a great character. Perrin running around after Faile is irritating as anything.
