the thing that really piques my interest, is no one seems to be asking Brandon about that interchange between Min and Rand. The whole flaw with callandor barely comes up anywhere in the interviews at all, which ALWAYS makes me think we're onto something with this Blade of Ruin business.

Well yes............ and no. He did so inside TAR. which makes things wishy washy. Could simply a a TAR manifestation like Perrin exhibits later on, or yes it could have been down to Callandor. hard to say, could go either way. if we take everything at face value as far as we know in...

I'm with Midian on this. Something big got brushed aside right there by Rand and his uppity attitude at this point. I think Mins gonna save his ass on this one with some logical smackdown just in time, hopefully Zen Rand will listen to her this time, Ten bucks says its to do with Perrin...

Callandor and the TP eh? Well it's possible that could be the reason. One plus for the theory has for it is that it’s a less obvious interpretation of the three becomes one prophecy, and I like ideas that aren't obvious. One thing that is very interesting to me is the nature of the flaw in...

Wild guesses that flies in the face of all we know about the Powers. Channeling doesn't use up the One Power. Remember the water wheel analogy? So unless there's an additional factor like the power being locked away, or destroyed etc, mere channeling all of it shouldn't do what you say.

Not much point in drawing more than you can handle though unless you can do something with it before you get torched. Overloading yourself is great for Mutually Assured Destruction Moves, but not terribly awesome at sealing up prisons. Seems a bit too simplistic to simply use it to blast the...

*shrugs* Could be almost anything at this point, but Callandor is clearly the key to the end. As to how and the why of it, we'll just have to RAFO. But the lack of a buffer is a good point to be focusing on as its the main difference between it and say the CK. As to how that plays...

I don't think that's good enough, most don't read the rules anyway. And those that have certainly don't do it regularly It's time to open the book 14 forum.

I don't know about everyone else, but avoiding spoilers is a big reason I'm not posting much. Being very careful what post to read to avoid spoilers, even in threads not marked for spoilers. I think we need to open up the new book forum ASAP to give people somewhere to talk about it and leave...

It's certainly possible that the melting of one door shattered the other. Although that would mean that Lanfear's visitor would almost certainly have to come through the Tower of Ghenji then which is certainly possible. The other possibility is that very same visitor shattered that door...

Having been through the Tear gateway is a good possibility Ana. It comes down to the nature of the link between the doorways and Finnland I guess. Meaning is the link present at all times, or only open when someone has passed through it. Hard to say, we don't know enough about that. it also...

The problem is that the doorway was destroyed after she went through it. It was fine in Tear beause the link remained active, however the bond couldn't maintain itself once the link between Finnland and Randland closed. The interesting thing.... is what was the timeline of the Tear gate being...

No prologue spoilers outside of the appropriate thread please. Which will do until we open up the new forum. I haven't read it yet. I always liked Damer Flinn. He healed Irgain Fatamed, Sashalle Anderly and Ronaille Vevanio. And correct about the gender difference which was confirmed by RJ.

I've been thinking about Slayer. Isam wasn't taken by the trollocs alone, he was taken along with his mother Breyan. Now we know Isam obviously survived as an infant....... and I'm wondering if Breyan did as well. We know she was influnced at least by the darkfriend Cowin Gemallan to bring...

The breaking was really quite surprising effective in altering the physical landscape of the world. There's a good chance some of the men were using angreal/sa'angreal and so on, (although I doubt the Choedan Kal were). But certainly mountains were destroyed, new mountains were made like The...

Way, way, way too soon for a "birth" exactly. Elaine is about 4 months gone, give or take. Although I do like Brandon chucking just the little bit of doubt in there to keep people guessing
