My husband doesn't have the time or inclination to read the books, but he's more than halfway through book one on audio.

It's a hyperfocus thing. I don't know why it's so easy for me to get lost in reading like that and still interact with the people around me, but I'm not mad. Lol

My last reread took me 3 weeks for the whole series. Of course, we ate a lot of fast food and the house got a bit messy, but I did it.

Have they done the whole series in audio books? I have a friend with some Army injuries and he can't sit to read anymore and has gotten into audio books. He read up through book five, but couldn't read anymore and would like to be able to listen to the whole series and find out what happens.
