The saddest piece of news I got from the Companion:

I thought about that; but according to Lan's perspective; the choice of mares for Mandarb was to be in Malkier, after its reclamation. I was thinking maybe one of Perrin's stallions; or maybe Tam's since he's Bella's rightful owner.
