Mother, your stock has skyrocketed in my books. :) I alternate reading the WoT series and then listening to the whole thing on Audiobook(Micheal Kramer and Kate Reading are awesome)
I also listen to the whole Dark Tower about once a year. Glad to see I'm not the only one who rereads stuff...
Oh, not far at all, I stuck my head in , read up on some of the book discussions and then life caught up with me. I work for a weird company and all of a sudden life got nutty:)
I logged on half a dozen times at most.
Thanks so much, all, for the fabulous greeting. I dont get to say this often, but I applied for Citizenship:)
Cheers and my thanks to you for the warm greeting.
Thats true, I mistyped a bit, maybe not cut entirely, but a whole lot of written real estate went into explaining the future. I found it grating after a while.
And darn inconclusive:(
I love this thread, but have no clue how to narrow it down.
Runners up:
Mat - He's Hakuna Matatta personified.
Tam - A solid never changing citizen of the Westlands, love him.
Egwene - I think the best chapter of any book in the entire series is " A Fount of Power" The attack on the tower...
Oh I have to have a small list here and combat a few mentioned earlier:)
Cadsuane! I love her, mean old rotten person but hell bent on staying alive to do her duty and basically standing up to the most powerful people on the planet.
Mat? Maybe, its a black tower thing, but he was pure...
I could do without any and all of Aviendha's trip down the lane of memories in Rhuidean.
And the trip with Lanfear via the Portal stones dragged on a bit.
